This Privacy Policy describes how the Android app “Droid Containers” (the “App”, package name
cn.yzapp.androidcontainer) handles information. The App lets you pull container images from
container registries and run them in user-space containers (proot) directly on your Android device —
without root access. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

In short: we do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information to our servers. All data stays on your device.

Container images, container filesystems, and configuration you create in the App are generated by your own actions and stored entirely in the App’s private storage on your device. We have no access to them.

The App requests only the permissions required for its core function:

If you enter registry credentials (for example, to pull private images), those credentials are used only for the download you initiate and are stored locally on your device only. They are never transmitted to us.

When you pull an image, the App connects directly from your device to the third-party registry you chose (such as Docker Hub or another mirror). Those requests are governed by the third party’s own privacy policy, and the registry operator may see your IP address and the image you requested — this is standard network behavior. We do not proxy, log, or intervene in these requests.

Software running inside your containers is entirely under your control; what it does and which services it communicates with is your responsibility, not ours.

We do not sell, rent, or share any information, because we do not collect any. No data leaves your device except the network requests you initiate (image downloads, and network activity of the software you run inside containers).

All data (images, containers, settings) is stored only on your device. You can delete it at any time by removing containers inside the App or by uninstalling the App, which removes all locally stored data. Server-side deletion is not applicable, as we hold no data.

The App is a professional developer tool and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
